In an unprecedented move, City of Kimberley council last night voted to override its own bylaw, allowing a business licence to be issued to Tamarack Dispensary; a medical marijuana dispensing facility.

Less than one month after City of Kimberley council agreed to bend their own bylaws and issue a business license to Tamarack Dispensary, a medical marijuana dispensary now operating in Marysville, council has been presented with the intention by yet another business specializing in pharmaceutical weed.

Medical marijuana is a growth industry, says Tamara Duggan of Kimberley. Duggan and her husband, Rod, were at Kimberley City Council on Monday evening, informing Council of their plans to open Tamarack Dispensaries, purveyors of high quality medicinal cannabis products, in Kimberley.
